23 College Presidents Paid More Than $1M

Even as the numbers of students declines in colleges (mainly due to a large number of foreign students no longer coming to the US) the pay packages for many of these institution’s presidents are escalating. In many cases, running one of these institutions of higher learning can end up being more lucrative than running a Fortune 500 company.  Just 8 years ago, there were no US college presidents earning 7 figures and now there are 23 that are bringing home the bacon millionaire style.  Maybe future episodes of “MTV’s Cribs” will feature some of the homes of a few of these top earning college administrators:
